Unni is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in driving brand growth, market expansion, sales and organizational transformation across the technology industry. He currently leads marketing for the Americas, following his tenure as Global Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Palo Alto Networks.
As CMO, Unni was instrumental in transforming the company’s global brand, demand generation, and thought leadership efforts. He spearheaded critical transformation initiatives and elevated the brand and demand engines, fueling the company's rapid growth in the cutting-edge AI cybersecurity space.
Unni's 12-year journey with Palo Alto Networks began in Singapore as the Marketing Director for Asia Pacific. In this role, he was key to shaping the company's strategy in the APAC and Japan regions, contributing significantly to its early expansion.
Prior to joining Palo Alto Networks, Unni held progressive business leadership roles at Brocade Communications and Sun Microsystems, where he successfully led major transformations.
