Unni is a business executive with over two decades of experience across marketing, enterprise technology sales and partnerships. He has held senior leadership roles in high-growth environments in both multi-billion-dollar organizations and early-stage companies/ businesses. As the Chief Marketing Officer at Palo Alto Networks, Unni is responsible for the company’s global marketing strategy and execution. Being one of the early employees, Unni has been instrumental in growing the teams, elevating the company’s brand presence and contributing to its rapid growth in the region. Prior to Palo Alto Networks, Unni was at Brocade Communications where he was responsible for the strategy and execution of marketing with an additional focus on building the IP market for Brocade, implementing a scalable and sustainable telemarketing process for awareness, digital and demand generation, and channel marketing. Before joining Brocade, he spent over 10 years at Sun Microsystems in leadership roles in marketing, tele-web, sales and alliance sales. In his last stint at Sun Microsystems, Unni was in charge of building the company’s brand and demand across the Emerging Markets (Latin America, Central Europe, Middle East Africa, Greater China and India). His marketing journey began with Parametric Technology Corp (PTC), with a stint at the corporate headquarters in the USA as part of the global marketing team. Unni started his career in sales at HCL Hewlett Packard and then moved to Datacraft as its regional sales manager.
