Andrew Hanna assumed the role of CEO of ZainTech in March 2021. The recently established entity is a regional digital & ICT operation that unifies Zain Group’s Enterprise ICT & Digital assets to offer a unique value proposition of comprehensive digital solutions and transformation services tailored to enterprises and governments in the MENA region, under one roof.
Andrew brings over 25 years of experience in ICT and telecommunications to the position. He has held several executive management and leadership roles in regional and international competitive markets across consumer and enterprise sectors, including at STC, Batelco, Telecom New Zealand, Microsoft, Ericsson, and Telstra. Prior to his appointment at ZainTech, Andrew was Chief Commercial Officer of Omantel. Andrew has proven, billion-dollar-plus P&L leadership experience with direct strategic and operational responsibility for digital transformation, strategy & planning, product management, channels & alliances creation, customer care, sales management, and marketing. Andrew holds an MA in Business Administration and a Diploma in International Business from Monash University (Australia). He also holds a BA in Economics from Victoria University (Australia) and is an Alumni of London Business School and Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
