On May 22nd GTB will be holding the first Telecoms CFOs' Summit. This will be the largest ever gathering of carrier CFOs. They are coming together to discuss the state of the industry and to talk about the issues they all face. At present, 16 carrier CFOs have agreed to deliver a keynote speech or sit on a panel.
The role of the CFO has changed over the last few years. The role is now much more strategic and operational, rather than pure finance. CFOs play an important part in determining carriers' direction as well as investment — and in many operators the CTOs and CIOs report directly to them. The CFO will state their case at the board meetings.
Any executive working at a company that supplies products or services to carriers should come to this event to network with this important group of carrier executives, and also to learn their views. As a bonus we will be offering a great deal of hard-to-get market intelligence to delegates on the day.
