Gavin has retired from adidas South Africa on 31 March 2013 as Marketing Director and 27 years of service. Gavin's background is in marketing; future activities will primarily centre around personal brand, leadership and performance management (as an associate of Jenny Handley Performance Management CC), writing and television broadcasting with Supersport along with business mentoring of individuals, lecturing at the Stellenbosch University Business School and supporting HPCA (Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa).
