Carol Chen is a global CMO and board director with 30 years of marketing, P&L, and governance leadership across P&G, Shell, and ADNOC — spanning six countries and four continents. Her commercial foundation was built at P&G, where she led billion-dollar consumer portfolios including Pampers, Pantene, Head & Shoulders and Personal Care, delivering sustainable brand and double-digit P&LYOY growth.

As Shell Retail Global CMO and SVP Licensed Markets P&L, she led marketing transformation that delivered +$2.5B in revenue and drove AI deployment across pricing, loyalty, media, and campaign at global scale. As Chairman of Shell Brand International, she governed a $45B brand ranked the world's most valuable energy brand for eleven consecutive years, with board-level accountability for brand equity and commercial growth across 100+ markets.

Her conviction on AI is direct: AI without human insight is automation; AI without commercial accountability is experimentation; AI without cultural change is a pilot — and the companies that win need all three.
